Then it came to me. What if it is not how much I am eating or how healthy I am eating but what I am eating?
Looking at the ingredients of most of the foods I was eating I noticed one thing in common, SODIUM. Both natural sodium and added salt were a large part of my diet! WOW, that can’t be good! Salt and sodium retains water, what if that is my problem?
From that point on I pretty much threw away the salt shaker.
What about baking? I love baking!
It took some trial and error with changing old family recipes and some new ones, to make them taste just right. It can be done.
With the addition of using 100% Soya oils and Soya margarine, I have also been able to reduce the amount of bad cholesterol in my recipes, making them a healthier alternative to some traditional recipes.
With many requests from family and friends for my baking recipes, in 2005 I finally sat down and compiled them all. Since then I have added a few more!
With all the studies, articles and hype of late about watching your cholesterol and reducing your salt intake, I can now share all these recipes with you in an e-book.
Check out the e-book at .
